I was drawn to women's health early in my medical education. I love how the profession of gynecology is unique. We perform procedures and surgeries yet, like primary care, we care for patients throughout their lives. I witness the importance of being compassionate and listening to patients. I understand the value of educating patients about their health issues and helping them make decisions about their care.
